Reflection

“But ask the animals, and they will teach you;
the birds of the air, and they will tell you;
ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;
and the fish of the sea will declare to you.
Who among all these does not know
that the hand of the Lord has done this?
In his hand is the life of every living thing
and the breath of every human being.:

Job 12:7-10

Recognizing the presence of God within and around us does not require superpowers. We do not need super senses to discern the gentle whispering of the Lord speaking to us and guiding us. The journey to a divine presence in our lives often starts with a simple desire and longing to meet and encounter our savior, our intention to slow down the fast pace of our lives and hear and notice him speak through familiar faces and voices around us.

The entire creation, from the cells in our bodies to the distant galaxies in the skies, proclaims him, vibrates with his presence and echoes his voice. Can you hear it? Can you feel it?
