Made from the Estate’s best selection of Areni grapes, Hin Areni’s Reserve Red is fermented in steel tanks and aged in Caucasian oak barrels.

The 2016 is a dark crimson color, lightening to violet at the rim. The nose opens to sweet vanilla oak complemented by herbal/floral elements. Sweet cherry fruit and a nice acidic backbone on the palate. As the wine opens, the oak continues to frame the pomegranate and cranberry fruit flavors. Perfect for drinking now, this wine should continue to evolve for another 3-5 years.

This medium bodied red wine is strong enough to serve with chicken, beef or anything in-between.
