Made only in years when the conditions for a late harvest are optimal, this dessert wine is made from the unique Muscat Vardabuyr variety grown near Echmiadzin. The wine is fermented down to a sugar content of 16%, then fortified with alcohol made from distilled muscat wine and barrel aged to add complexity to both nose and palate.
Successful dessert wines need complexity and acid to balance the residual sugar. This wine has both. A light amber color, bright aroma of tea rose with golden raisin tones on the nose. Candied peaches and caramel on the palate with a nice long finish.
Serve with a non-chocolate dessert, or have have it for dessert!
Note- this wine is only available in 375ml (half bottle) size.
