Plantings of Muscat in Armenia date back centuries. Voskevaz makes Urzana from the rare Armenian Muscat Vardabuyr (Rose Essence) clone. The grapes are harvested by hand and carefully pressed and fermented to preserve the unique varietal aroma complexity of the grapes. The wine is fermented in steel and bottled without any time in oak.

The 2017 Urzana is an aromatic, crisp dry white. The bouquet is of white grapes, fresh flowers and spices. On the palate, fresh peach flavors and honeysuckle through a smooth finish.

The 2017 won a Gold Medal sat the Cativinum World Wine & Spirits Competition in Spain and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles in Belgium.

Urzana is a great wine to drink without food, and when you get hungry, pairs especially well with cheese, nuts and Asian cuisine.
