Description
Tushpa’s vineyards are in the scenic Ararat Valley. The ground is typically very fertile and the Tushpa makes concerted efforts to control the yields of it’s Haghtanak and Kangoun grapes to maximize the flavors of these two varieties The White is made from Estate grown Kangun Grapes, cold fermented in steel tanks and bottled to preserve freshness.
The 2017 White has a complex nose of pears and baking spices. Honeyed pear, floral and mineral notes on the palate leading to a slight mineral/quinine note on the finish. A nicely concentrated wine with good legs and a smooth finish. In short, an amazing expression of what the Kangun grape can produce.
Try this wine with cheese, appetizers and fish dishes.
